This card was first released as a Non-Holofoil Wizards Black Star Promo number 8 through the Pokémon League starting January 8, 2000. It was reprinted as another Wizards Black Star Promo, this time Holofoil and with the collection number 9, and was available through the Pokémon League from April 2000.
