On this unit, the stylus is missing, and Mario Kart 7 may not be pre-installed (for example, if the SD card has been changed or the software is not present). Mario Kart 7 itself is a brilliant pick-up-and-play racer with kart customisation, gliding, and underwater sections. Note that Nintendo ended online services for 3DS software on 8 April 2024, so online play isn’t available, but local multiplayer and offline modes still make it a top-tier party system.
