Nintendo 3DS Pokemon Rumble World

Pokémon Rumble World is a colourful action game set in the Kingdom of Toys, where your Mii character teams up with wind-up Toy Pokémon to battle through bite-sized stages. Using hot-air balloons, you travel to different themed areas – forests, caves, volcanoes and more – each packed with Toy Pokémon to knock over and befriend. There are toy versions of over 700 Pokémon here, spanning the first six generations.

Combat is fast and straightforward: move your Toy Pokémon around arenas and tap out simple attacks, swapping between stronger and weaker Toys as you go. It’s easy to pick up but surprisingly moreish once you start chasing better movesets, higher power levels and rare species.

Originally released as a free-to-start download, this version is the full retail release, meaning you get the complete experience on cartridge with all the content included – ideal for collectors who prefer physical nintendo games and don’t want to rely on eShop access.

Built by Ambrella and published by The Pokémon Company, pokemon rumble fans will find this a great companion piece to Super Pokémon Rumble. It’s also a fun, light introduction to the series for younger players or anyone who wants a quick blast between heavier RPG sessions, while still feeding that urge to “catch ’em all” in a slightly different format to other pokemon ds games and 3DS titles.
