Nintendo DS Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky

This is widely considered the “definitive edition” of the Explorers games. Explorers of Sky expands the Time/Darkness base with extra content and quality improvements, most famously the Special Episodes—side stories that flesh out key characters and make the world feel bigger. 

You’re still getting the full dungeon-crawling loop: rescue/exploration missions, randomized layouts, and that tactical, turn-based movement that makes every step matter. But Sky adds more reasons to keep playing after the credits, which is exactly why it’s so sought-after by collectors of old retro games.
